Headteacher’s Welcome

Croeso! Welcome to Cwmrhydyceirw Primary School. We are one of the largest primary schools in Swansea with over 500 pupils and we are situated in Morriston on the east side of Swansea, close to Morriston hospital. We are very proud of our school and everyone who works (and plays!) within it. Selecting the correct school for the primary years of your child’s education is a vital decision and we feel that we offer a wealth of opportunities, including academic, sporting and musical, for your child to develop a variety of skills, interests and talents during their time with us.

Our school seeks to offer as broad a curriculum as possible with many opportunities to excel in areas both in and outside the curriculum. We also set and expect high standards and want your child to be happy and flourish with us at ‘CRC’ so if you have any queries then please contact me at the school and I will be happy to answer any questions that you may have.

We are very proud of what we offer at our school and are also proud that the hard work that goes in to providing a warm and welcoming place for your child to attend is consistently recognised by our very supportive parents and any visitors to the school. Please also take the opportunity to read through out last two Estyn inspection reports from 2018 and 2026 to get a better idea of what our school is all about!
